I have painted my entire life.
The pull toward color, form, and beauty has always been there – quiet but persistent. At school I chose art and design, but when the time came to follow that path further, I turned away and trained as a mathematics teacher instead.

It was not wasted time. In mathematics I found something unexpected – a deep connection between art and math, between structure and freedom, between balance and beautiful disruption. That tension still lives in my paintings today. Things must not become perfectly tidy. Something always needs to disturb, to mess things up a little. That is where it gets interesting.

Over time I found my way back. After a long period of burnout I left the classroom and built something of my own – a practice built on art and yoga, intuition and the subconscious. During the pandemic the paintings took more space and I began to exhibit more widely.

My painting is intuitive and surrealist – sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative. There is a rhythm, a play of light and darkness, a conversation with what lies beneath the surface. Many paintings are dream interpretations. All of them are a practice of trust.

I am a member of Svenska Konstnärsförbundet.
